The new studio layout has oversizing problems!
Many elements of the new studio page are catastrophically oversized. For example, the studio info area has the studio thumbnail, follow button and description all massively oversized, and there is no easy way to fix this. It makes it look weird and not fit in certain situations. Being able to have 4 projects in a row was also nice.
Contrastingly, the studio title is now cramped into this teeeeny space instead of having the top area above the taps to itself.
The curators in the Curators tab appear to be correctly sized, but the area between Managers and Curators is too big!

The new studio layout has oversizing problems!
A key aspect of Scratch is to browse through and look at other Scratchers projects in studios.
We choose projects to look at by looking at project thumbnails, names and authors.
Previously we could see a large number of projects at once and it was easy to browse studios quickly.
Now we can only see 6 projects at once on the screen in a studio
I find it makes it much much harder to find projects I am interested in, as I am not prepared to scroll endlessly.
I hardly browse studios anymore which is a shame as I always liked looking at others projects in studios.
** Please either add more rows and columns of projects on a screen for studios again
or add an extra browsing option to display smaller thumbnails which I expect most Scratchers would immediately use.
Note that the Scratch Team forum post https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/526539/ explaining why changes were made to studios give reasons for most changes but no reason for the larger thumbnails and reduced number of projects on a screen.
Coincidentally, the main auction website in New Zealand made exactly the same change and I use it much less now.

A kind of relevant quote about how far users scroll down when they do a search using a search engine:
“The average web user won’t go past the first five listings on a search engine results page (SERP). According to a 2014 study from Advanced Web Rankings, more than 67% of all clicks on SERPs go to the top five listings. Things start to get grim when you look past those first few results. Research shows that websites on the first search engine results page receive almost 95% of web traffic, leaving only 5% for remaining search results pages.”

The new studio layout has oversizing problems!
I fully agree. I would suggest viewing options for the studio projects tab: “small thumbnails grid”, “large thumbnails grid”, and maybe an additional option “list with details”. I'd really like to see a snippet of the project Instructions in a detailed list. ** Please either add more rows and columns of projects on a screen for studios again

here. This topic is a duplicate, which means another one with the same suggestion was created before yours. Please continue discussing it
Many things in my suggestion are not mentioned in your suggestion, and my suggestion even says to make some things moved and bigger, although shrinking things is a duplicate… by only one hour.

The new studio layout has oversizing problems!
To reduce 60 projects per page to 24 seems a little excessive. And rows of 3 don't work as well for me as rows of 4. I don't know why they couldn't have slightly smaller thumbnails and rows of 4, and maybe even 40 projects per page. I don't go to studios much anymore since the changes.

The new studio layout has oversizing problems!
I agree.
The announcement states the following: “We’ve updated the design of the page to match the look and feel of other Scratch 3.0 pages (like the homepage and project page).”
However, the look and feel differs quite a lot from the homepage and project page. The page width, font sizes, margins etc are noticeably larger.
On top of this, I agree with Scratch-Minion's points (in post #3) about the studios now being more difficult to browse.
The Scratch Team seem to have received a lot of negativity after the studio changes. So I'd like to end this post by sending love and appreciation their way. Keep up the awesome job, Scratch Team!
