Scratch Classes
So, you've probably seen Teachers/Students on scratch. The Students usually have, “Student of: (Insert here),” and the Teachers just have a plain, “Teacher.” Let's go onto the question, Are the classes allowed if it's not from a real school or the teacher account isn't actually a teacher from the school? Please tell me if you don't understand any part of the question.

Teacher Accounts are intended to be made by real teachers of a real school with real students. I believe we block Teacher Accounts if they are not made by real teachers.

You need to request a Teacher Account here. The Scratch Team verifies if you are a teacher.

Do you have an actual class? If not, you could just create an account where you create projects like a teacher. Here is an example @MissVegas. They aren’t really a teacher but they teach classes.

It's not me personally, I was looking at someone's page and it doesn't seem as if it's a teacher. Do you have an actual class? If not, you could just create an account where you create projects like a teacher. Here is an example @MissVegas. They aren’t really a teacher but they teach classes.

Oh okay. They might not be a proper teacher, they could just be having some fun.

you're required to provide a ton of details, including a phone number.here. The Scratch Team verifies if you are a teacher. How would they verify it? Would they contact the school's administrator? You need to request a Teacher Account
i'm assuming they'll call the number if they think the details are phony (pun intended)

If you want to, you have the option of reporting that user and have the ST check somehow. If they're a legitimate teacher I doubt anything would happen to them. It's not me personally, I was looking at someone's page and it doesn't seem as if it's a teacher.
Then again, I don't know how well the ST makes sure the accounts are ran by teachers. So you might just end up reporting a legit teacher!
