Are safe chats allowed?
Are they allowed. If you dont know, a safe chat is a type of chat where you select different categories and then choose a phrase that belongs in that category, they were used in old roblox and is still used in club penguin

Are safe chats allowed?
Yep, if it can only send pre-made sentences, and NOT if it allows you to make sentences from a collection of safe words or type in your own sentences / words.

Are safe chats allowed?

yes they are.
But under one condition, there must be NO possible combination describing negative opinions.
eg: No, Yes, I, like, you can lead to I no like you
something like: friends?, yes, busy

can be allowed.
r e s p o n dPlease wait. The forums are least active on morning GMT+3 to 7 because it's the opposite side of the world from USA

Yes, they are allowed, has they don’t contain bad words and are technically moderated. There is many projects who do use safe chats and are still up. And I also think is allowed on scratch.

You also cannot have whitelist chats because whitelist filters are work-around-able (cool word huh).

I no like youeg: No, Yes, I, like, you can lead to
Actually, I haven't seen any official post saying that, do you have quoted? And since I haven't seen any post about that, it might be allowed. Like “no” could be used for, do you play Minecraft? “no”. Also would like to add instead of making sentences with phrases/words, just use words or sentences. Like how are you? This is to stay on the safe side. Also reporting to be closed.
EDIT: Sorry for necroposting, this was bumped up by someone, but their post is now dustbinned.

Are safe chats allowed?
(from this announcement by the Scratch Team)So yes, assuming the safe chat only lets you choose certain predetermined sentences, but users can't be able to piece together their own.
What about projects that allow people to share emojis with each other, or that use a few pre-made sentences?
These are generally fine as long as they can't be used to share content that the people viewing the project can create themselves.

One may also do something like this.(from this announcement by the Scratch Team)So yes, assuming the safe chat only lets you choose certain predetermined sentences, but users can't be able to piece together their own.

1: How…
2: Where…
3: What…
1: …do you jump?Is allowed, and would result in this:
2: …do you fly?
3: …get past boss..
How do you fly? While yes, you are piecing together a sentence, you are not doing so on a word by word basis, and you can only form sentences with the given phrases.

Those are still predetermined sentences/thoughts. I could've phrased my original post slightly better, but I think the intent is that users shouldn't be able to freely construct sentences of their own (that haven't been planned beforehand by the creator of the project). One may also do something like this.(from this announcement by the Scratch Team)So yes, assuming the safe chat only lets you choose certain predetermined sentences, but users can't be able to piece together their own.
