is there a way anyone could make a page about random muisic generation for scratch ie how it works and how to make a random generation program
I don't think it would be of use to many people, and it can easily be done like so:
-snip-
1, that script is for picking a random song, the poster wants a script that can randomly generate new music, and 2, that script makes my eyes burn, please do not ever use nested if else blocks like that and instead do:
play sound (pick random (1) to (5)) until done // this will work regardless of what the sounds are actually titled

Would splitting a section into two parts and adding additional content to both be considered 1 addition or 2?

Ah, never mind.

Do you think you've been banned unfairly? Then you'd be wrong. The ST aren't children, so quit acting like they are.

Can I make a template called ban? It is for userpages of users that need to be blocked. It will work like this:

It will be a red header and say:
This user violated the Scratch Wiki:Guidelines or the Community Guidelines and needs to be blocked. The user who added this template does not have permission to block the user.
Reason for block: reason
Bureaucrats, check IP address if ip=yes otherwise username|this user's contributions and this user's talk page, then block this user.

No. Wiki bureaucrats alone decide whether or not users are banned. Experienced Wikians and admins may recommend a user be banned, but a bureaucrat makes the final decision. However, regular users are not involved in discussions about whether or not users should be banned. If a user is acting in a way that they shouldn't, address their actions directly with talk page messages (or if it's serious and you think an EW+ needs to be made aware of it, comment on their talk page to let them know, or if it's something you don't want to discuss publicly, use the report feature to report offending revisions). Ultimately EW+ are responsible for addressing bad behavior, regular users should just let EW+ know about bad behavior.

no, because:
  • There's no IP editors, Scratch Wiki accounts can only be opened upon requesting and this needs to be approved by admins/EW+
It's exactly against to Scratch Guidelines, and therefore the blocking system on Scratch Wiki automatically censors who is banned from the public. You can use report feature on Scratch Wiki to notice admins/EW+ about an offending edit.

ADD PHONEY TO THE WIKI PLS

Hello! I'm boileyboy! I'm working on something called Phoney (he's more than just an OC. He will star in his own future game but for now I'm limited to scratch.) Please folllow me if you want updates on what I'm doing. I'm a flamingo fan. I like PlayStation and Nintendo. My profile picture is an image of Phoney.

Why should we add this? Remember, articles about projects, studios, and Scratchers aren't allowed as per this.

I’d doubt a page would be added for an average scratcher’s OC.

psst! Hit ctrl + shift + down to see the rest!

For whatever reason mister Jon Arbuckle got removed ;-; I'll find a replacement GIF later

Anyways hi, I'm SK

I've been on this site since I was 10 years old. I am currently 15

I have a major addiction to sweet tea and draw a crap ton of stuff in my free time (not all of which is scratch appropriate). I post whatever I want to on the main site and mostly manage the collaborations directory and answer questions in QaS on the forums

I have over 2000 posts lol, a huge chunk of them being from when I was 11-12 during the height of COVID

If by any chance the post youre reading is from early 2021 or before, please forget that post exists since it is cringey

This is Kimikat.

We do not create articles about anything created by a Scratcher unless it created a massive impact on the community.

Because its not just an OC. Scratch is the first time The public has ever seen Phoney. He will have a full 3D game franchise later on. I thought I'd just use scratch to start off, to Practice. So, he's not just an OC, and I'm not just an average scratcher. I'm a game developer.

Pages about Scratchers and projects (and any other user-generated content) are generally not allowed. The exceptions are:
  • Topics that are confirmed to have involved at least one Scratch Team member. However, they must still be considered otherwise notable; simply having Scratch Team involvement is not sufficient reason to allow such a page. For example, the Scratch Design Studio is documented since it is a major component of the site even though it is a studio, but there are not articles for most other studios that various Scratch Team members curate.
  • Topics that have been considered important/notable enough in Scratch's history by a majority of Wiki editors that they deserve an article (e.g. kaj, Removed Pac-Man Project, etc.).
Anything that may fit an exception listed above will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, projects may be linked to as examples to get the point of an article across more effectively, such as on Pen Projects. They must, however, be relevant to the topic and work adequately well, and they should only be mentioned in the context of the article. The article should not be or look like an article about that specific project.

Articles about important roles in the community designated by the Scratch Team are generally allowed (e.g. Community Moderator, Curator (front page), etc.).
If they become notable outside of scratch they still won't qualify for a wiki article.

I thought all violations of the Community Guidelines would qualify as their own article on the Scratch Wiki.

Nope. That would be way too many articles. There are millions of banned users and deleted comments, forum posts, projects, and studios. Not all of them are notable enough to have their own wiki article.
