Moving information from an old account to a new account

No. I don't know how to say this, but I don't think this suggestion is worth it.

If you read the TOU, it says that you have to transfer all your stuff over YOURSELF, so no support (this is practically rejected).
Plus, just keep the old account but never use it and just say that “Hey, this is my new account”.

The Terms of Use are practically irrelevant on this topic as they haven't been updated in 5 years and the ST's opinion may have changed since then.

4. The information the new account will receive (If moving projects is included, the user will be able to choose which projects to transfer + a “select all” button can be used to move all projects to the new account)
5. Loading screen

After the information is transferred, the old account will:
1. Have its transferred projects deleted
2. Have its transferred Following/Follower Scratchers deleted from the following/follower list
3. Joined date will NOT change

I think that a no4 . Curating/following Studios would also be helpful.. This suggestion could help many scratches solve their problems

I think you can send a GDPR request to transfer account data but you have to be inside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Nvm, its only for personal information.

GDPR only wipes data. It doesn't transfer it.

This should only be for projects. Studios can be transferred now, and other things like followers and join date would cause confusion and be too similar to the rejected suggestion.

Support. If you download it will set the loves and fav to 0 and it takes a lot of time to get back to normal. I have a project with over 100 views and 6 or 7 loves and most of my shared projects have more than 60 views. Remixing the old project have the same issue and it shows the thanks to box on top.

I support this too. It would mean if I ever wanted to move from my current account (hip000) to this one (GAMIACODE_YT), I wouldn't have to spend A YEAR downloading projects and reuploading them!

Semi support.
Moving projects and studios sounds like a good idea but automatically following an account wouldn’t be possible.

It’s a huge support, I am about to switch accounts and I’m getting stuffs ready.but the thing is I don’t have a lot of time.it’s like slowing everything up.some people don’t reply back to the reminds that we are about to switch accounts.I wish scratch would add this.
