This is a request coming from a rat lover, for something I think would be cool: Adding a Scratch Emoji that is a rat (so that when you type _rat_ a cute rat emoji comes when you publish the comment) Would just be quite cute and fun! It’s definitely not necessary but I still think it would be really cool:3

Don't really have any opinion, but the _maximouse_ _rat_ emoji could use the maximouse Mouse1 sprite in a way:

I can foresee some potential dispute which may arise from the usage of this emoji: People may start to question how the st even chooses what emoji to add in the first place. If a rat got added because a particular user likes rats, what about people who like dogs? Or cats?

This is just IMO though, I may be overly sensitive in terms of the after-effects of this feature.

Fair point, we would need other animal Scratchmojis to then-

This is not a good idea and reminds me of the pumpkin emoji suggestion which was made because the person who made the suggestion had a pumpkin as their PFP. No support, I don't see where this would be useful, unlike the Scratch Cat or Gobo emojis.

The scratchmojis aren’t even that useful, to be honest, we have <3 and OwO, but things like _pride_ come in handy

Rats have nothing to do with scratch and is an obscure emoji, so I don't think this is that necessary. Infact, rats are rodents to cats (the mascot) so this may not be a good combo anyway.

In my opinion “mouse” has a more positive connotation than “rat”..

No support. This is random, and there isn't even a rat sprite. Rats are also seen as pests, so it may be used as an offensive term for people do F4F. Rats also symbolise disgust, which could also be used as an insult. I understand there are unrelated emojis, but at least they make sense. Also, what purpose would it serve except for the fact you're a rat fan?

To add to this, “Emoji” is short for “Emoticon”, and if you take the C out, then it literally says, “Emotion”. Rats aren't emotions.

Not really because then we will have to add an emoji for every other thing in existence because people love them.

Most people don't, and will instead use this to bully users (ex: Ew you do F4F you _rat_). Just because you like rats doesn't mean this should be added. No support.
