To be a Forum Helper, you need to have five hundred posts. This topic was made before the requirement was 500+ posts.

I mean it said why they can’t post. I did also say it’s vague, which I like... tells them why.I can’t see how it is telling them why. It tells them that this is a unofficial Scratcher ranking of 100+ posts to be able to post on certain topics but I can’t see how it tells them why.
I’m still wondering what is the process you see that leads to better behavior?

It's still in Help with Scripts…Bump.Wrong. all Scratchers should have the ability to post on April fools/Scratchblocks testing forum.
I support this, however I think deleted posts (that includes most spam posts), posts in the Scratchblocks testing thread and April Fools posts should not count to unlocking the Announcements forum.
Edit: The Scratchblocks testing forum just moved to show and tell.

um, why not just immediately close announcements topics? Not much useful discussion really goes on in there..Studio Updates FAQ begs to differ. Yes, there was spam. Yes, there was angry unconstructive posts. But there was also useful discussion.
And, yeah, I know that this post was made before that topic existed but it was the first example I thought of.

I've been on other forums that have posting requirements for certain things, and people just spam comments elsewhere to get themselves up to the requirement, so things like this just don't work.
In fact you end up with more spam and junk comments than you started with.
For that reason, no support.

bumping. support it, to stop spammers and attackers from attacking the forum.
this is not necroposting, since in suggestions, necroposting doesn't really exist.

Maybe not 100 posts, just 10 to 50 posts so atleast we're reassured that they kind of know how the forums work
