This is odd because I use safari (proof: My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.4, Safari 13.1, No Flash version detected) and for like a week the time was in my local time (BST, British Summer Time) but now it’s back to EST (or whichever timezone it actually is xD). It has never been set to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time (you could also call it UTC)) or BST (yes, Britain has two different time zones for summer and winter, summer is UTC+1 and winter is UTC).Yep, apparently for a week time zones were ok and now they're not?
Also - daylight savings is normal

Actually, I don't like this light saving summer time stuff, because it's just confusing when you want to meet someone and you come an hour too early or too late because you haven't changed the time on your clock.

In parts of australia (not my part, thankfully) the sun can rise at 3am or so, so daylight savings is pretty useful there. Even one hour later helps!

Mega support! This would be so useful!
EDIT: Welp, it actually works for me, but in 24hr time. I still support the option to switch between 12hr and 24hr, though.

Something that coufused me already way too often is that the time when I posted something seems to be some sort of american time. Probably the time at the MIT. But since I'm from germany, the time is completely wrong, especially in the summer time (yes, in the summer time everything is one hour earlier so it's bright in the evening. Should save power), and that's why I would like to have the option to enter a time zone or getting an automatic time zone depending on the location entered (but for example russia has like 10 different time zones).
Would that be possible? In other forums (the Arduino forum) this option is available, so it's somehow possible.
Maybe you can even choose between 24 hours and 12 hours with am and pm.
I've never actually experienced this myself because I live somewhat near MIT, but I support because I understand how this could be a real pain to most others.

Someone recently said that times are in UTC if you're logged out.

Support! I'm in PDT (or PST, forgot which it is currently), and it's always weird when a post I made at noon shows up as being made at 3 PM.

Support, I always find it annoying that the times are shown as not my timezone.
Perhaps you could choose your timezone in Account Settings. Perhaps you could also choose whether you want to see 12-hour time format, or 24-hour time format (I have no problem with the 24-hour time format, but I know that some people do).

I live in EST, but I'm somewhere else now and it says that all of the posts from a few minutes ago are from yesterday. (It's only 10:12 where I'm at now)

It is very confusing and my timezone is IST which shows like it's midnight when it's actually morning here lol.
EDIT: It's actually 10:17 according to 24-hour format but it shows 00:47 as I have said midnight in the morning…

Support. I'm in BST right now and it's really annoying not having the time in my local time. If I really wanted to know, I could look it up but that seems like a lot of hassle. I'm all for the 24-hour format, it's much better and what I'm used to.

I could finally have CEST time so my brain doesn't stop to load for 30 years or have to compare fresh post counts

Support. It would help so much when I want to know how recent a post was, to know if it's appropriate to try to add to the discussion or if it's half a day old. I live in CEST and it takes like 20 seconds to figure it out in my head, when you add the 24-hour time which I'm not used to, being from the USA. That's 20 seconds in which someone could ninja me!!!
