So I had an idea for an RPG game that's a crossover between some of my friends' things so here's the forum for it ;p

All I have for the story so far is the RATS foundation accidentally causes some portals to other universes to appear and stuff

Press space to start, use arrows to move, press b for some test dialogue


note: I have literally no idea how to host a collaboration like this

I know I'm kinda new to this group of people and I haven't really posted much about most of my characters, but could I enter (a) character(s)?

I'd say maybe around 3-5, one or two party members, and the rest are supporting characters/antagonists or something, idk
It'll really depend on what we'll need for the plot I think

Also unrelated but I think this game is going to be split into “chapters” that take place in the different universes and the Rift from ZS could act as a sort of hub world

((I'm a sensitive creator, don't judge me please))

I don't know which characters I'll pull out of my brain for this, but an originally-joke character of mine is Thar, Norsch God of the Fourth Wall. Yep, he's a ripoff of Thor. He looks like Marvel Thor with a purple cape, but I can change that for the game. (to ensure no copyright infringement) He has a hammer called Wallnir, and he can use it to whack the Fourth Wall to create holes in it and travel through the Void (a place between Fourth Walls- universes are contained by their Fourth Walls). He can then whack another hole to go to a different universe. Since I might not have one universe that my included characters are from, he could serve as a way between my universes, as he can bring others between universes. (That leaves the question of where my chapter takes place, though. I'll think about it.)
Also, Thar is extremely snobby, he's reckless, and he thinks he's better than everyone.

(Side note: I can always change details when necessary to fit better with the game.)

Also, there's the Wall Repair Legion, humanlike beings who live in the Void and repair the Fourth Wall when it's broken. (How else would the Fourth Walls still be intact?) The Legion likes universes that never break the fourth wall, and it hates Thar, Undertale, and DDLC.

(Another note: Thar COULD have something to do with the creation of the portals, with his recklessness, but I don't want to be intrusive to the already-made story, with RATS. Maybe he has a role in the portals' creation, and that's just the important part of my chapter? Like, gaining information from him to help close the portals or whatever?)

I haven’t decided if RATS actually opened the portals, so it could’ve been Thar or maybe some new villain character, either way I think Thar would be an important part of the overarching plot if we do end up using him (maybe he’s an antagonist or something that you meet a bunch of times throughout the game?)

Also it’s worth mentioning that the Void and the Rift are both non-universes in between universes, maybe in this game the Rift is located in the Void?
