12-year-old Alexandria stepped into the library, took a deep breath, and smiled. She had loved the fragrance of books, pages just waiting for someone to pick them up. She principally loved adventure fiction- all the wild tales with the heroes invariably prevailing in conclusion. Alexandria walked into the adventure aisle and paused to choose a novel. As she browsed the shelves, all she saw were books she had already read. All of the books comprising the racks were ordinary books that Alexandria had keenly read in hours. She strolled out of the corridor and into the next one, which appeared to be Mystery. She scrutinized all the books that lined the shelves and pulled out one. It was labeled The Girl in the Archives. Well, this one can't be too bad, right? she thought. Alexandria shivered at a gust of wind and flipped open the book. Forthwith, a howl split the air. Alexandria saw a form in the shape of a girl in her peripheral vision, and she shouted in horror as it raced towards her. She backed towards the entrance and broke into a run as it sped up. Alexandria dashed out the door into the courtyard. However, as soon as she passed through the threshold, the apparition vanished. The girl sat down, gasping from both fear and running. As she gazed back inside, a cold hand clamped over her mouth and dragged her inside.
Sorry it's short :') but I'm proud of it

Weeks
Poem by @softlysinging

Last week
This week
Close my eyes
to the future
Last week
Was hard and brutal
This week was
easy
Next week will
Be everything we dreamed possible.

Popular and Trendy Items
by @scarletskiies

Do you want some more orders? Some cute, aesthetic items to help your shop to become popular? Well, here are some items that are flying off the shelves!

Nintendo: Nintendo Switches are exclusive items that come in many different colors– pastel colors, classic blue and red, and customizable colors!
Boba: Always a customer favorite in the mall simulator community, boba is a classic sweet treat to the eyes and the taste buds.
Plushies: Plushies are a soft and cuddly delight for the customers– cats, bears, and bunnies alike!
Plants: Aesthetic plants are quite easy to make, and hanging plants and terrariums are being whisked off the hooks! With many different kinds, such as succulents, flowers, and cacti, the variety makes the plants special and unique.
Beanbags: Beanbags, so comfy and sweet, are a surprising favorite of the community, with plushies and pillows stacked on top ;)
Polaroids: The cameras come in a variety of colors, with a string of photos added to make the perfect aesthetic touch.

Those are just SOME of the popular items that are booming in the mall sim community, with pastel and aesthetic products making their mark.

The Ninja's Target
Lyra dashed around the corner, hearing the ninjas step on the walls of the hall. She tore into the nearest room, slamming and locking the door as she went. It didn’t take long for them to find her. After all, they were ninjas. Lyra heard the slow, deliberate sound of metal slicing through wood. Soon, the door would give way. Before the ninjas could complete their tedious task, Lyra dived behind the first thing she could find- ironically, a plank of wood. She heard a heavy thud as the remaining parts of the door crashed to the ground. “Lyra, we know you’re here,” the leader Aerona called out in a sing-song voice. Lyra shivered as she remembered what the name Aerona meant- carnage. She exhaled and stepped around the edge of the plank, unsheathing her katana. “Let’s finish this,” she snarled and sprinted full-tilt at Aerona. Aerona, for her credit, brought up her blade and connected with Lyra’s. The screeching sound of metal against metal filled the room. One of the other ninjas started to intervene, but Aerona held up a hand, wincing from the effort. “This- is- my- battle,” she gasped, finally throwing Lyra off. Lyra skidded backward across the wooden floor and broke her fall with her katana. “You can’t get rid of me that easily,” she hissed. Again, she ran forward, but this time, she brought up her fist. Aerona instinctively ducked, but it was a feint. Lyra brought her blade up over Aerona’s head and struck her with the tang, or handle, of the katana. Aerona staggered backward and collapsed to the ground, unconscious. The ninjas stood up as well and faced her in a straight line, unperturbed by what they had just seen. They charged forward, but instead of attacking, they stood in a circle. In unison, 20 blades unsheathed. Lyra sighed. “Now, I have to take care of you.”

I finished! Sorry about the long wait. :-:

Hello, I’m Dragonlady567 and I am here to teach you how to make simple but cute things or items! Some friends that I know try to make cute items but the final product does not satisfy them, here I will show you the basics so when you will be satisfied with your thing, or item. The biggest thing is roundness, it’s the most simplest path to cuteness, instead of pointing the corners make them round! If you would like to add a personality to you item or thing add a face, and usually it will look cute! Simple dot eyes and a small line mouth is perfect! Getting the colors a little bit more lighter will also help as well. If you have read to the end I would like to thank you for reading my article! : D

It’s really short sorry about that, I can extend it if you need me to.

Here is my submission The Adventure Kids Once, my friends and I were exploring in the jungle, and we fell through a big gap. We quickly found ourselves in a very long cave. While wading through a pool of water, we saw a treasure box full of glittering gold. I sprinted towards it, and suddenly a pirate jumped out and said, "You shall not get my treasure!” Then, the pirate started running swiftly after us! We escaped the cave with a rope ladder. We decided our lives are worth more than the treasure.

Heres my story (Sorry if its a little long)

In a hot desert village, there was a boy named Liam. He was a fine modest boy with a heart of gold. It was a day like no other as Liam helped his papa plow the fields. The sun glaring and sweat pouring but with a cool breeze that makes everything better.

¨Ẅhy don’t yuh take these crops down to the village for me ay¨ his papa said

¨Of course papa¨ Liam replied and dropped his hoe (don’t even)

Liam trudged down to the village kicking up dust as he went, once he hit the bridge to the river he had to find a way, Right which is a small dirt path leading the rest of the way; he always went this way. Or Left, a forest with much shade, like any boy would on this hot day he took to the forest kicking rocks as he went. He walked for a long time before finally realizing he was lost and sat on a rock, It was then he heard a voice in his head

¨follow the bird and you will find your greatest wish¨ it spoke quietly

Liam shook his head ¨the heat must be getting to me¨ he thought, wiping his brow until a small green bird started flying into the trees, and with that he started running after it, getting scratched and poked as he went. It stopped and a small clearing with a small box in the middle. Liam put his hands on his knees and started to pant until he saw a little girl sitting in the sun. He quickly ran to help the girl.

¨Are you okay?¨ he asked kneeling beside her

¨i’m fine, just hot and tired,¨ she said ¨I’m mary¨ Mary held out her hand

Liam took it and said ¨I’m Liam, do you know what's in the box?¨ he said pointing in its direction. She shook her head and they both walked over, slowly lifting the top to find hundreds of jewels and necklaces inside, their jaws dropped and they stood silently, gripping the box hard as if they let go it would disappear

¨You may have it¨ Liam said

¨Really, thank you¨ Mary said smiling and skipping off with the box.

Liam walked home, as he stopped at the river he reached into his pocket finding the most beautiful of jewels, ¨Did mary sneak this into my pocket¨ he thought but couldn't wait and started to sprint.

¨papa papa,¨ He screamed ¨Look what I found¨

He handed the jewel to his papa and he started to cry. They both lived happily ever after with a big home with air conditing (lol)

awesome, thanks so much! i’m assuming the ¨s are meant to be “ right (and the Ẅ at the start is meant to be W)? i’ll go ahead and replace them when i import the story into the project— i’m guessing it’s just your keyboard being weird lol
