People’s privacy is more important than recognition. And it saids the ST names anyway on there, so you can easily recognize.
My point is that I don't believe any privacy is lost here. There are surnames galore that start with each letter of the alphabet. Besides, the “past members” section of the credits page lists full names anyway. This is why I called Za-Chary's comment “hypocrisy”.
Also, the Wiki and the Scratch credits page have different goals. The Wiki has a greater need for specificity than the credits page, and thus needs to disambiguate people with the same first name. While there are many people with the same first name and last initial, the chances of two of them being on the Scratch Team (experimentally 0% - no ST members have the same first name and last initial) are much lower than the chances of two ST members having the same first name alone (experimentally 100% - Chris G. and Chris W-F. are both named Chris).
Why do you need to distinguish them by there actual name?

And what about the page matching the credits page? It doesn’t. There last names are not there.
It may be minimal but hey still don’t like it so it should be removed.

Why do many articles use short variable names like “i”?

It's common to do that in a lot of more advanced languages when the variable just serves as an iterator (the “i” usually being short for “integer,” “iterator,” or similar), so I guess it just carried over onto the Wiki given that's what the contributor writing the script at the time was used to.

Ok. Would it be a good idea to change the names to make them easier to understand, or should I just leave them as is?

Making tutoring accounts are quite confusing as there are different KINDS.I'm not the kind of person who knows about it but if you'd wish to you could go onto my profile and talk about it there.

Remove the link please. Also try to comment “_pride_ _blm_” WITHOUT nono word, you will see the emojis. Also why would nono word emojis be on scratch.mit.edu?

Either I'm doing something wrong, or those emojis don't exist in Scratch.
Oh yeah, they are only on scratch-www pages, so you'll have to use them on projects, and soon studios.

Are they just on 3.0 style pages or are they available on 2.0 pages?

They're only on scratch-www pages (=3.0 style pages). So only projects for now, but they're updating studios soon
