No lol, that time I got caned is really just because I was mad at them and yelled for a bit.
If the kid really burnt a house, then they should just get sent to children's jail (or whatever name it is).

I clearly understand that the last post is from November 2020, but I still need the answer.

Parents caning their children is legal in Malaysia, and teachers can cane male students.

None of this is okay on scratch nor irl.

Especially in the USA.

I don't think this would be a good idea, why would you want to make an animation about this anyway?

“Beating” a child with a cane (or other tool) in a Scratch project is not ok. “Punishing” a child with a cane or something may be. The term “beating” implies that the child is being abused. If someone says they know someone who “beats” a child, that means they know someone who abuses their child, even if they really meant punish with spankings.

I think it depends on where the child is being hit, and how severe you make it out to be. I would not make any lasting red marks.

I have Indian parents so thats relatable.
In lots of schools in western places kids get whipped.
In comedy purposes but not like a depressing sort of way, I think so.
