I once found a shiny Machop in Let's Go. I was mad when my sister started throwing the controller in an attempt to catch it because she wanted it for herself. I would have been fine with giving it to her, but she ripped the controller out of my hands and let the thing run away after wasting most of my stock of 200 pokeballs I had just bought.

No I didn’t

My first shiny was a shiny Pansear in Pokemon X, I think I found him in the forest in the beginning, and I caught him and named him Eevee

He is now on my main team in Pokemon X. Memories.

My first was either a shiny Magikarp or a shiny Dratini. Both were caught on PoGo

So, I spent about 2-3 hours hunting for this during the current Max-Raid event, and I fanally got it!

There is actually an event going on in Japan at the moment for one, but it requires purchasing Japanese products so that's kind of out of the question if you can't do that.
Otherwise, it's impossible.

im talking about ones that you hatched/caught yourself
its way too easy to get ahold of shinys these day because of all the hackers
any shiny you get from trading online is 999999999999999% hacked because why would you trade away a shiny?

once I met someone who was very kind and gave away a legitimate shiny
I have a dragapult and milotic, unfortunately the dragapult has ceased to exist
I also had a gyarados but thats been unexisted too

This thread's pretty dead but I've been getting into shiny hunting a lot recently so I'm going to post anyway.
I've started a quest to get a shiny living dex in USUM, and so far I have;
SOS:
Pippin (Pikipek), Froot Loops (Trumbeak), Marceline (Toucannon), Lavender (Yungoos), Deerstalker (Gumshoos), Elon (Rattata-Alola), Penelope (Raticate-Alola), Scotch (Caterpie), Chrysalice (Metapod), Margarine (Butterfree), Dorado (Ledyba), Miraculous (Ledian), Aragog (Spinarak), Arachne (Ariados), Lola (Buneary), Nesquik (Lopunny), Marie (Inkay), DJ Octavio (Malamar), Scout (Zorua), N (Zoroark), Archie (Furfrou), Dice (Chansey), Ignorance (Blissey), Shelldon (Slowpoke), Noibat, Bleu (Rockruff), Rora (Eevee), Rainer (Vaporeon), Sparky (Jolteon), Epona (Mudbray)
I also have an extra shiny Blissey named Pollyanna because of exp grinding

A bit more in depth, the majority of my shinies are from SOS because I find it the most fun method. I basically started at the start and just went from there, hence why most of my shinies are #10-#30 in the Melemele Pokédex. I also have Noibat, Rockruff and Mudbray because I like those Pokémon a lot and wanted their shinies. I have a Slowpoke because I just kinda decided to hunt one, and Eevee, Vaporeon, and Jolteon are there because I wanted to do them gradually rather than hunting all the Eeveelutions at once. Finally, my Chansey and Blissey(s) are from exp grinding. I also have a Kartana and Mimikyu because I wanted to use them for the Battle Tree and figured I'd catch a shiny version.
Anyway, this post was very long since it's recapping the past several months of my shiny hunting (please snip this if you quote it) so my next posts won't be anywhere near as long

I just caught a shiny Regigigas which I nicknamed Atlas (after the titan from Greek mythology). The hunt was in ORAS and I was doing it without shiny charm. It took me 2136 SRs for it to shine but after that I caught it on the first Dusk Ball. I made a project to track my progress if you want to check that out, but I've hunting this thing on and off since August 30th this year. It's nice to finally get it
