I apologise for making a bad and not-well-thought-through argument about adding the trans flag. I guess I was sort of biased, but oh well.

Anyway, I'm still supporting the inclusion of the rainbow flag.

Wish I could support, but I was there when the first suggestion post about this was made (I actually inspired it), and I came to learn that this wouldn't really work, mainly because everyone would want their own emojis. Concerns aside, cool to see someone else thought of this idea, and nice Picrew!

Given that Scratch is about programming and not so much about blogging, I'd prefer there to be no identity emojis than for there to be over 200 of them cluttering the menu.

There's also the factor that religious/conservative parents might hear about Scratch only to go onto the discussion forums and see a bunch of pride flags everywhere. After that, their kids might be unable to use Scratch, which would be unfortunate.

No support because of that and there is no such thing as an “Islamic flag”

The rainbow flag is for gay people and the entire LGBTQ+ Community

The default, 6 coloured pride flag sufficiently covers (most) LGBTQIA+ denominations, and virtually every other one is obsoleted by this. Most services which include a pride emoji usually only have 1 or 2 to keep the emoji list concise.

As said above, this is a duplicate but otherwise I mostly support.

No support, as of this was added, scratch may be picking favourites and will have to include every identity. This includes national flags.

there's a flag for all of LGBTQ+ I think, we can use that.

Being called they/them, I'm kind of part of the LGBTQ community. Support for the reason that Scratch should be inclusive.

But adding this is probably going to pave the way for over inclusiveness, adding national flags, religious flags, and flags of ethnic groups.

Also, this emoji would likely be spammed. People, seeing a new emoji has been added, and gives a chance to showcase their pride, will likely be putting this everywhere, to the point where the symbol doesn't have any meaning behind it on Scratch and is just a fun little rainbow.

Yeah. Unicode does have a rainbow and trans pride flag emoji. They aren't supported in comments, so it would be nice to have _pride_ and maybe _trans_.
