i think so.. but i noticed they were from a few days ago and not updating. perhaps they took a snapshot of all the comments then and put them in, but now it's storing comments in both systems so it's seamless to switch over?

Sorta yes, so the devs weren't working on 3.0 styled pages when they turned off comments

Profiles or My Stuff will probably be next, but they don't plan to work on the forums at all.

I think they prefer to finish all of it at once, rather than doing it in parts.
