I support this. A “Reopen Topic” button should be inserted so that anyone who accidentally closed a topic can reopen it immediately. Yesterday it happened to me when I closed a topic for a collaboration by mistake, in the Italian forum.

I agree with this idea. I see no reason why someone who closed their own thread shouldn't be able to open it. I do suggest that a Scratch Team member should be able to “double-close” an already closed thread to prevent it from being re-opened, but I suppose that's a pretty obvious implementation idea.

Honestly, I don't really have an opinion on this. I don't think it takes too much time for the Scratch Team to read the report, reopen the topic, and zap the report, but I'm not a Scratch Team member so who knows.

I guess it would be useful, but I don't think it should be high priority

I'm sorry but I'll tell you that I don't find it necessary although it could be useful sometimes. Indeed, I think there are already more important things to add, correct on Scratch… Be patient. Anyway, most of the topics are closed for a more valid reason so I think it's good not to reopen them (there shouldn't be a button when it's a moderator who closed and even when it's a normal scratcher in my opinion it's more secure). On the other hand, I think it would be nice to have a button to ask for confirmation that you want to close a topic.

In this case, I think that when the ST close a topic, there should be a box they can click to prevent it from re-opening. That or if the ST close it, it shouldn't be able to be re-opened by anyone other than an ST member.
