What would happen if a dumb -> inexperienced Scratcher went and messed around with them, and found themselves on the Discuss Page, what do you think they would do? bearing in mind this hypothetical person has no clue what a Forum is

There would be a small increase in spam. I can't see how this would happen very often (as the Discuss Button is “very visible” right there in the footer already!). Doesn't seem too likely to me.

Support, I think you should also be able to customize more of the header. For example, you could choose what to call the buttons. You could change what the profile dropdown contains. You could edit what the profile dropdown items say.
