But in all seriousness, one time I saw someone in a HK studio call Ori a HK bootleg (and either it wasn't a joke or they should've been clear), and all I can say is why

The only things they have in common are the playable/main character is an orphan, they're hard the first time you play but the next time you play you have an infinitely easier time, they're on some of the same consoles, they're metroidvanias, I love them, and they're post-apocalyptic

I do have a Hollow Knight OC named Ori after the character in this game, but that's off-topic
