Make Scratch compatible with Wii Remotes and Nunchuks.

There's some people that might want to hook up Wii Remotes and Nunchuks to their computers, sure they might work for different games but they don't work with Scratch, there could be an extension for Wii Remotes and Nunchuks.

before you say “AHHH THIS IS A DUPE OF USB CONTROLLERS” no this is not a dupe of the usb controllers thing, this has nothing to do with USB drives, this is about Wii Remotes and Nunchuks, which use a different thing to hook up to your computer.

Wii-Computer functionality was never intended by Nintendo.

But nintendo probably won't work with Scratch to make it, they aren't selling more wiis.

The Wii Remote and Nunchuck are two completely obsolete controllers that aren't being officially sold, thus a very small minority of people will benefit from this being implemented.

-completely ignores the fact it's the second best selling console of all time-

Edit: Then again, not many know how to connect it.

Anyway, I don't mean to derail the thread, but while it may have sold a lot of consoles, many of them are no longer used, broken, or being sold on Ebay.

Plus, you can't buy them at many places, as the console was replaced with others.

Who buys a Wii controller anymore? The console has been replaced with much more up-to-date, powerful, and more compact systems that do just as much plus more than the Wii did. I'd be more willing to use a switch controller to control games because it's the current console.

Because people (like me) still have wiis for the occasional wii sports and mario galaxy. We only have two controllers left, (funny story for how we lost one, ask on profile) so if we lost one, we'd need another. The switch and wii u are more expensive.

I don't think the Wii U was really a replacement

This mentality is exactly why it failed. People thought it was an over-priced tablet extensions, when, in reality, it was an entirely different console.

Maybe instead of Wii they could use Xbox One or PlayStation 4 controllers.
