Remixing with no changes...
I know, that's why it's rejected, and also why I included it. And the same goes for the suggestion about deleting remixes. My real suggestion is in the last paragraph.-snip-That won't be implemented. The CC BY-SA 2.0 license, which is used for Scratch projects, says everyone can “create and reproduce Derivative Works”, even without approval from the creator. And remixing is an important part of Scratch anyway.

Well, this is also strange BUT WHY DO PEOPLE NOT REMIX MY WINDOWS (ω+2) PROJECT? THEY JUST IGNORE IT.

You guys do realize someone necropsted and this topic is a year old. The OP won't even check this.If they're still following the thread (which they would be by default) and they haven't left the site, they probably will. And even if they don't, we're allowed to discuss suggestions after the OP has stopped being active in or outside of the thread. That's why there's no necroposting.

Hey scratch team! There's a report feature you can use for this. So no support.i have a suggestion. First lemme tell you why. So there are people that keep remixing my best projects and they change NOTHING at all (it is literally the SAME project!). Now here's the suggestion: When people make projects, they have (not exactly) full control over them, right?
(they can unshare it, make changes, delete comments, Ect.) Well, it would be great if the person that made the original could delete any remixes of their project. Or if not, If scratchers remix projects and are about to share them without changes, There will be a sign or something on-screen that says “You must make changes before sharing this remix.” Thats my suggestion! Thanks.

What if you are on your alt and remix without changing the project.Well, it is technically your alt, so it doesn't exactly go against the rules. I remix with out changing on my alt so I can store old projects there.![]()

it will for against the freedom of REMIXING I think
many scratchers will be mad if you copy someone else projects
unless you made a project on your main and remix without changes on your alt
reporting to be closed

A lot of the discussion is about that part of the suggestion.

What if you would have to make a certain amount of changes to post it?What would Scratch count as a change? Computers aren't very smart; something like moving a sprite a couple pixels could be counted as change.

VERY MUCH SUPPORT!!!
I Know exactly how you feel, exactly. I have my projects (Mostly only my Appel projects) remixed ALL THE TIME and not changed anything, or Given credit. That is very annoying and most of the time it doesn't get deleted if i report it and when i say that they have not changed anything or given credit, they don't reply or put up a fight. i think the idea of deleting a remix made by your project is a very good idea.

that is very true. Sometimes when i have accidentally, (or on purpose!) remixed a project and changed everything i want to change, done all the re-costuming or re-scripting i want to do, and sometimes i realise i have done it all on my test, i have been signed in on my test, account (@Owen7777777-Test) And then i would remix on my main and not change anything or give credit or put in the notes and credits simply ‘it was my test account, so i don’t need to give credit' and put in the title a ‘(version for my main account)’ one instance is my project, More hard game very hard remix remix, or my project, coin clicker, they haven't changed anything from my test who wrote them, but that is on my test. i don't think that should count, although technically the computer thinks of my test as just another account, that's why i can follow my self from there, like and favourite all my projects, etc. and yes, this could be the problem with that solution. What if you are on your alt and remix without changing the project.Well, it is technically your alt, so it doesn't exactly go against the rules. Maybe users can send a request to the owner to take it down, sort of like a studio invite… And If they don't reply, then they can report it… (I have a project with tons of remixes that are either blank, or have no changes, I'm so annoyed at people doing this, I complete ignore the remix notification, I support this idea)

No support. Someone could delete every single remix of their project, thus disallowing remixes (which is why 2.5, 3.2, and 4.1 are rejected). For your other idea, as LegoManiac04 stated, someone could make a change that actually does nothing (like adding a random comment somewhere). However, I have found a solution for this. When the project is remixed, if the project hasn't already been edited, it makes a copy of the project and stores it somewhere until the project is shared. Then, when it is attempted to be shared, another copy is made, and the 2 are both ran simultaneously. If there is any change between the 2 tests, it is shared. Otherwise, it doesn't share and instead tells the user they have to make some changes to share it. Only then would I support.
