Undo button (correct me if I'm wrong)

Scratch seriously needs an undo button. I almost accidentally deleted all of the scripts from my only sprite. Correct me if I'm wrong and show me where it is if there is one.

You can click undo by clicking edit. Then, click undelete.

that's not undo, that's undelete, let's say you accidentally put a block somewhere where it shouldn't be, you don't know how to fix it, undo would help.

that's not undo, that's undelete, let's say you accidentally put a block somewhere where it shouldn't be, you don't know how to fix it, undo would help.

SFollis has a point, I propose both Undo and Redo buttons.

Well, we have a revert function (under File), which will undo all changes up to the last save point. Perhaps that is what you were looking for?

Yes, there should definitely be undo & redo buttons. I just accidentally deleted my most important sprite when I tried to duplicate it. The 2 buttons (duplicate & delete) shouldn't be so close together.

If you make copies of your sprites every so often, then if you accidentally delete them you have another one. It takes up a lot of space, though, and you could easily get mixed up and screw up your project.

Yep… I agree with all, when I press play and want to rearrange everything back to normal, i don't know how to…

But what if you mess up terribly and it autosaves? Or if you want to undo two or three things and you saved ages ago?

Actually, that throws away all changes since opening the project.

I'm getting ready to teach Scratch to 150 6th graders, and the absence of an undo button may be a deal breaker. The beauty of online exploration is being able to try new ideas without risking the loss of progress already made. Once a script moves a sprite, I can't figure out how to get it back to the starting position (other than to build another script) Any suggestions?

Drag it or use a go to block, type in the co-ords and double-click it. BTW, I am one of your 150 6th graders
