It has recently come to my attention that several people have had issues with their projects saving. So, I decided to make a thread about it. Discuss possible ideas on how the glitch started here to prevent many topics about this issue from being made.

Basically how it works is that your project doesn't save when you click save. Or, another glitch that's almost the same is when it says it saves, but when you go back into the description, it doesn't save. If you are having this glitch or have an idea on how to stop it, discuss here.

Also, if you see any topics made about this, make sure to link this post and tell them to discuss the glitch here.

People seem to think it's a server issue, and I would agree.

For some people, the glitch is already fixed. However, many people are still having it happen to you. Discuss possible causes of the glitch here!

Also, alert the ST of this glitch if you can. If an ST member views this, they will probably start working on fixing the bug.

Some possible theories:

Too much storage - Maybe the servers can't store anything else?
Server bug - Maybe it's just something weird with the server?

So, I go to bed and there are 2 pages. 10 hours later, there are 13 pages XD
Now there are 21 pages!

I personally think it's a server issue, or something similar to what caused the question mark glitch. If anyone has other ideas, feel free to tell me!

It's when all of your sprites turn to question marks. However, it has been fixed. More info is given on the first stickied topic in this forum by @Paddle2See.

I would agree. I don't have much knowledge on how servers work, but it seems like that had something to do with it.

Personally, I am not experincing this issue by the way.

I’m not sure when the glitch started, but what happened is that I am trying to make a project, and every time I try and change something in the project, it wouldn’t save. I clicked the “Save Project” multiple times and it still wouldn’t save

i assume that the server thing affects parts of canada and usa at least, but definitely not everywhere, since violet isn't having any saving issues.

It might be in the us since i live in it. But like people said, it might not be everywhere?

Ok so Scratch is doing a “Fantastic” job on saving projects rn!

So there was this glitch happening where Scratch wont save, and i lost ALL OF MY WORK because of this glitch, so i had to spend another 5 HOURS remaking it! I saved a copy to my computer just in case.

I live in the US, but the glitch doesn't effect me. Maybe it's just parts of the US.

WHEN I SAVE IT, I SEE IT SAVED IN THE THUMBNAIL. BUT WHEN I ACTUALLY LOOK AT THE PROJECT, I LOSE ALL MY PROGRESS!! I HATE THIS BUG!!!!!
