Gray Question Marks in Projects

Hey folks -

We have become aware that a number of projects that were edited since the morning of 4/8/2021 may have been afflicted with an issue that caused some of the costumes or backgrounds to appear as “gray question marks”.

We believe we have fixed the issue so that projects can now be edited without turning costumes or backgrounds into question marks. However, if you do have projects that were affected, we recommend that you use the Contact Us link (at the bottom of every page) to let us know so we can try to recover your project.

Thanks for sharing it. Only concern is that what if in the future people want to work on those affected projects after they get reverted to the version without question marks (At least after three weeks, one or two months after the incident happened)? Or you say that only if a project has been restored to the version that doesn't have any question mark can be edited?

It happened to my friend who was judging her DMC's, but then their was a grey square with a question mark

i worked on a project for 4 months, and half the costumes turned into question marks

i had to trash the project, and so many others that had been affected.

just restart your device if it keeps happening. that worked for me.

This better be fixed I'm so cheesed off. I spent over 6 hours on it and like have of it is gone.
I will try restarting my device.

the js console says the cause is a 404 error when trying to get the costume files from the server, but for me there is no 404 error when I go to the link and it downloads a zip file
