Yay! I got the GitHub link to a similar issue: https://github.com/LLK/scratch-www/issues/4776.
But in the screenshot on GitHub, only the costumes editor crashes, but in my bug description, the whole editor crashes

I have recently discovered an issue where I go to change the fill or outline color and click on the dropper tool it freezes the editor.

Hmm, how was it messed up? Was the code wrong? Was there too much code which made scratch crash? Was the sprite looking funny? If the code was wrong, than I suggest checking the code. If there was too much code, than I suggest you find a way to make the sprite do the same things, but have less blocks. If the sprite was looking funny, I suggest you either re-draw the sprite or create a new project, and create the same sprite again.

There's a glitch that happens on Chromebooks (tested it out on 3 different ones). Projects always freeze about every 10 seconds and unfreeze after about 3 seconds. VERY annoying.

I use Chromebook and I'm not getting this issue. What version is your Chromebook on? You should be on the latest version (version 89.0.4389.95/patch 13729.56.0).

For whatever reason, Scratch will randomly display vector costumes as grey squares with a question mark in a serif font. As long as you don't save the project, the costumes should go back to normal after refreshing the page a few times. This has been happening since at least May 2019, but it was pretty rare until now.
Cases of this bug seem to have suddenly spiked today, resulting in an influx of posts about this exact issue.

This sort of reminds me of the Scratch 2.0 bug discovered in the first few months where clicking the Costumes tab while the project was loading would cause the costumes to be lost. I think this is what led to the addition of a fullscreen loading bar in the editor, but don't quote me on that.
