Any thoughts on the misleading Hero Wars ads?

These fake ads, usually gardenscapes, are always either ‘can’t reach pink', ‘my mom vs my dad’, two choice option to save someone, pull some bars to save a fish, iq level, ‘noob vs pro’, or something like this, usually with spongebob characters for some reason.
I've seen IQ Level (don't remember), Noob vs Pro (Merge Defenses) and Drag Bars to Do Stuff (Evony: Return of the King) on Bad Piggies advertisements. Spongebob characters just seem weird, though.
Yes. They should get like a copyright strike. Spongebob is a trademark, also it just seems weird there.

I saw a Hero Wars ad that actually made me want to play it :/
But then again, I've only seen it once, so I guess they are still using the misleading ads strategy.

Generally, mobile game ads are pretty bad. More than just the misleading ones, which are illegal, but they get away with it because of how non-serious they are, those basic ad templates such as “NOOB vs. PRO” or “Can't reach pink color”. What are they supposed to do to convince me to go download the app? These ads must be effective, because of how often they appear. Also as for those misleading ads, tbh sometimes I actually want to play the game when I'm bored, but it's really disappointing to see it's just some Candy Crush knockoff.

Yeah, this is why I don't play mobile games. Hardly any of them have accurate ads because some wanted to make their game look cooler than it is (even though I would be more interested what the games actually are than the puzzle games they show) and now all the other ones can't be original and have to copy the other games.

There are also those misleading ads (I haven't seen any Hero Wars ads use this strategy though) where a room in a house is in ruins, and the person in the ads has to use tools to help fix the room. They usually start out playing the game normally, then they do something incredibly stupid (ex. pouring gasoline on a fire), which results in the room getting more chaotic, and then a circle saying “FAIL” usually comes up.

To be honest, those ads are pretty much cringe and annoying in general. Like seriously, Who comes up with these?! Google should restrict this stuff…

As proud as I am that Rovio hasn't resorted to these ads yet, I kind of want to see what they would look like.
Same with me. Rovio did actually make a FAIL ad, though.
Angry birds dream blast has 2 of them.
Where a lock thingy rolls and tiny red has to escape while the user pops bubble obstacles
Well, that's not the same thing, this is pin pulling, not a chase.
But it is a low quality ad.
angry birds 2 had some bad ads
If by “bad”, you mean “poorly made”, yes. Rovio loooooooovvvvveeesssss the Movie style so much that they don't notice how much the fans haaaaaattteee it.
