I'm not sure it's really a secret, but there isn't really a possible way to catch Wheatley when he detaches himself from the management rail near the beginning of the game. You can balance him on your head for a few seconds, but it's impossible to catch him.

The current on the conveyor belt who says he's different can also be found in the beginning, jammed in a pipe, but wheatley tries too make you ignore it!

Portal = Potato
Potato = Portal * 2
Portal * 2 = Potato + Cake - 1
Portal ^ Potato (Cake*Companion Cube) = Portal 3
Portal 3 confirmed.
that's ridiculous

In the first Portal, I actually did this weird thing at the last test where I stood inside my portal and then shot another portal, instead of riding the lift thing.

hey guys u know portal well there are ratman dens and a creepy radio an-
BE QUIET!
Ahem. Sorry. I haven't been on in a while, so comment or reply to recent threads to contact me. Sorry for that too.
Anyway, to portal. Here we have some theories, and no, I didn't rip them off anywhere else. These are my own.
1: the cake is, and isn't, a lie.
First: the cake was going to be real.
Second: you never were gonna have it.
Third: it was YOU! (DA DA DAAAAA)
Seriously: the cake was going to be you. In portal, GLaDOS mentions this line:
first you will be baked, and then there will be cake.click to listen(okay, it's not technichly those words, blahblahblahblah)
If you don't agree with me, I don't see why you wouldn't.
2: what happened to chell after portal2?
This wouldn't be said, except the game is set post apocalyptic, as its a spin off of half life. Only she's in a huge farm full of wheat. A safe zone. Only problem is, the people who are saving the world or something(never played half life, can't play m games) are part of black Mesa, apertures rival. So, its: zombiesvsaperturevsbkackmesa. THAT'S WHAT FULL LIFE (what I call the crossover of half life and portal) COULD BE.
3: this is where you come in. What strange things are there in portal I haven't covered yet?
Replay the answer!
Actually, there is a real life neurotoxin called lead acetate that tastes sweet so maybe they put that in the cake.

COMPANION CUBE MYSTERY SOLVED!!!
Well, you know how in the first portal, when you burn the companion cube you get an achievement called “Fratricide”. That means: killing a sibling.
So, I think that Doug Rattman was chell's BROTHER and that GLADoS puts people who died in the tests into companion cubes.

what does she say? A secret in Portal 2 is, when GLaDOS gives you some advice, she's speeds it up. When sped down to a normal speed, she's just saying an excerpt from Moby Dick.
