Hello,
My Dad is making a game and needs to know for his personal design if the other mascots of scratch are male or female (or other) or if they have a given age. Its a Question the universe depends.:o If someone could answer that to me it would be nice.

the basic cat is non binary

so basically its a blank canvas. you can make it male or female.

I found some pronouns describing them on a Scratch Wiki page:
Pico - Male (source)
Tera - There's no pronoun here, I would assume female from what I've seen on the website.
Nano - Male (source)
Giga - There's no pronoun here, either. I would assume male as it said “very similar to Pico.” (source)

Although, there is some basic info (as you can see above); you're not wrong, the scratch team DOES want you to choose yourself and your fine to do whatever you want.

Er… just because two people are similar, it doesn't mean they're the same - pico isn't even male there. It's simply the look…

Ah, but we don't want to assume gender, do we?

Scratch Cat, Gobo, Pico, Nano, Giga, and Tera are all meant to be non-binary. That being said, they don't mind if you portray them as one gender or another. For example, if you want to say that Giga is male and Tera is female, then they are okay with that.

i scratch cat is non binary, however, i see scratch cat as an animal and sometimes use “it” (but i usually use “he”)

Technically yes, as it is an animal. And yes, many people call scratch cat “him”.

I found a comment on a Scratch Team member's profile asking this, she said Scratch Cat's non-binary, which means their both male and female.

I'm pretty sure “non-binary” is a codeword for “say they're whatever the heck you want”.

I would say that Scratch Cat has no gender, there's no real defining features about him that make him… well… any gender…

Actually Scratch Cat doesn't have any gender. Also his features make me feel like a male but still it is non binary because the features are not enough and also the cat is not a normal cat but a cat which stands on 2 legs.

Let's just say that we'll never know; there aren't any body parts, muscles, Adam's apple or anything else you or I could see. There's an often-mentioned quote that definitions “are descriptive, not prescriptive” and as a work of art, the sprite's gender is the same as what people think its gender is.
