Use "Wobbly sprite dragging" even if it's not April Fools Day

Support, but make sure it's toggle-able

How is wobbly sprite dragging even useful? The point of this was to mess around and having a feature just for that is bad as others have said, this will distract students from learning, which will discourage schools from using scratch.

These little funny features are nice but they always come with the same drawback, sorry

It isn't practical though. Aesthetics are less important if they don't serve a practical purpose.

Note- Some accounts are entirely dedicated to aesthetics, even if they're alts.

Support if toggleable, I would love to use this.

Isnt that really obvious? Instead of doing teachers assignments, kids find this and muck around with it instead of doing work. And I can’t see scratch adding a editor feature that adds nohing to the educational side.

Your attacking me on the forums again! What a surprise

sorry
I don’t think that kids would mess around with it for too long. there really isn’t much to do with it, and they would quickly get bored of playing with it and get back to work. plus, it would be probably be disabled by default.

I agree I think it’s boring, but I still think kids will think it’s funnier than work, so they will just play with it anyway. And I still don’t see scratch adding a feature that doesn’t add any educational value and doesn’t help you in the editor.

Kind of rejected:
1.12 Permanent option for cat blocks
The cat blocks were created by the Scratch Team as a part of April Fools' Day, where some Scratch blocks like the one below had cat ears and a face on them. Many Scratchers adored the cat blocks and have suggested that the Scratch Team permanently keep them in the editor, or otherwise make a permanent toggle so users can turn them on or off.

However, the cat blocks were intended to be temporary, and the Scratch Team has stated that they do not plan to bring them back as a permanent option. However, it is possible that they may temporarily come back during future April Fools' Day events.
This is an AFD feature like cat blocks, so it kind of falls into this category.

Unless it says “Wobbly sprite dragging” in the rejected list, it's not rejected…

No support. It's impractical, and Scratch would end up turning into a meme as soon as someone found a stupid photo.

You would probably want your website presented in a professional and positive way, rather than memes.

Because of 3 things:

  • Site is swarmed by “memers” thinking this is a meme website and breaking rules
  • Website loses its educational reputation/purpose
  • It is still pointless and doesn't benefit anything
