Also, on the companion cube, I think the one you burned survived, I mean the human part did. In could be rattman, but that's really stretching it.

They give you the companion cube you burned back to you at the end of portal 2, it's charred and burned.

I know, maybe it was completly flameproof, and had air conditioning. It might have a octal in it leading to cells.
