You aren't popular because people haven't seen your projects. To make people see your projects people need to see(and love) your projects. It's a weird loophole in Scratch, Youtube, and other things where you become popular by being popular. I reccomend using the 'Show and Tell' forum for advertising your projects. Put them in studio where you're allowed to put any projects, and most importantly, make quality projects that people will like.

How to make my games popular

  • Make a game that has lots of potential for being popular. Make sure it has quality and is something at least better than the average project of that kind.
  • Give the game a good title, make it look like the game is decent. (I think you have done this fine)
  • Add a good thumbnail that is representative of the game. It is what most users see first. You better make them curious about what your game might be.
  • Add instructions and notes and credits. If there are any search terms that may be relevant to your project, tag them. Don't bother with things like #games or #all because they don't work. I did some experimentation with this so I know all about tagging and how to get projects to appear in the search results. There is a lot of stuff to get right. I almost need to write a whole guide for this.
  • Ensure that the project has been added to many studios, especially the well known ones. Studios are the best chance to be seen, in my opinion (way better than Show and Tell).
  • Post in Show and Tell, if you want. It does not work that well so you can do without.
  • Interact with the community. Love, favourite, follow, and especially comment. Comments are kind of like free advertising, even if you aren't advertising. Your comment simply being present has a chance for users to click and check you out. Posting on the forums (e.g. helping users) may also be a good idea, but this one takes a lot of effort to do right.

Don't try to be popular. Just make quality games and projects and eventually, people will notice them

How to make my games popular

To make games popular, you need to:
1. Remember, practice makes perfect.
2. Add a thumbnail that best represents your game. Usually, that's what people usually see first.
3. Use tutorials or remix other projects and change it up a bit. This leads to more coding experience and skill.
4. Make the game dynamic with comprehensible game-play.
5. To express great potential on old projects, you can make the same game, but better. With the skills you've learned overtime, you can upgrade your old projects into one better than average.
6. You can also base your projects on video games. Even though it's hard work, it'll be worth it in the end.
7. If you're thinking your projects are not gaining much attention, put them in studios, forums, etc. It may work to gain more attention and popularity.
8. Follow, love, favorite, and comment on others' projects. These things can help give you followers, and especially makes them want to see your projects.

That's all the tips I have! Follow these steps and you can expand potential on your games/projects. Have a great day!
P.S. it's almost 2024. if you're 1 sec, 1 min, 1 hr, 1 day, 1 wk, 1 month, 1 yr, or decades or even centuries… then i'm from 2023/2024.

imo advertising and asking for fame is annoying, but like awesome-llama said, commenting and being an active member of the community will help you gain popularity. i had been griffpatching for a while and had started making some higher quality art (on my old account) and currently my old account has almost 600 followers because of how often i would comment. commenting in griffpatch's profile, gwdfi, and/or the gaehive can definitely make you more noticed since lots of people go there. being an active, kind member of the scratch community is a great way to get followers. as for not making polished games, the best you can do is practice and put plenty of time into it. if game making doesn't turn out to be your “thing” then you can make animations or art as well (like me ). i hope you found this helpful ^^
