Remove "R34" as a bad word (NEW IDEA)
If “R34” gets misused to be the inappropriate definition, other humans can report it. Simple(?)

Remove "R34" as a bad word (NEW IDEA)
Although the ST have good reason for banning the usage of R34, I think that we should be able to use human reporters instead of the normal algorithm, since as you know the R34 is also the generation of a line of sweet Japanese cars. If “R34” gets misused to be the inappropriate definition, other humans can report it. Simple(?)Yeah but that allows the opportunity for the bad term to be used as a whole, making scratch that unsafe, even if someone reports it quickly. It would take a lot more time than just not being able to use it at all.

Our car community needs to be able to use it. We use it to describe a special car. I don't see why else someone would use “R34” in an inappropriate way especially since we can simply report that person and delete their comment.

I speak as a car guy myself; although it would be a lot better to use R34 in reference to the Skyline, it's simply not worth it. There are sadly much too many people who would use the term in a negative way, and the need to prevent this just overpowers the need for slight convenience for a small group on Scratch. It's not worth it. (Maybe just say “Godzilla” instead, or just make do with R 34)I don't know about you, but cars mean differently to us than to other people. NEW IDEA:
The words “GT-R” “Skyline” or “Nissan” must be before or after the chassis code “R34” for it to be allowed. Also, it must work with “R34” inside the parentheses too because that is the formal way to write it.
Structure for car names: (Manufacturer) (Model) (Chassis Code)
Example: Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34), Honda NSX (AP2), Porsche 911 (997), etc.
How does that sound?

As someone familiar with both frequently used definitions of the word, the best course of action would be to not have it censored if the preceding words contained either Nissan, Skyline or GT-R. (that got ninja'd by an edit from the post above lol) The chance of this outcome happening would depend on if the filter can be configured to do that in the first place and if the Scratch car community is large enough where this is an issue.

the rule applies for Nissan cars as well.

That wouldn't fix it, people would do:

Too late, even these young minds was cursed by internet. I’ve already seen horrible things, don’t make the same mistake just because you want to talk about cars.

The word R34 has a meaning outside of Scratch that isn't very appropriate.I looked up combination of “R34” that I could and without a space in between, like Scratch makes you do, it is appropriate. With the space however it is inappropriate.

Posting it publicly on the forums, while it does have some adverse effects, gets it to the attention of the ST quicker. It takes quite a while to get a response from Contact UsSection 6.7 of TOLORS wrote:I don't think we're supposed to discuss censored things in the filter
