i am trying to upload a gif from google poly (https://poly.google.com/view/dggOiBLYyuR) but it wont work

The .gif is probably too big, try compressing it.

ok by the way by big do u mean high file size?

In that case, you will have to reduce the resolution (resize it). This will lead to a lot of loss in quality though but that would mostly be unnoticed.

For example, if your current resolution is 500*500, try reducing it to somewhere around, 60*60. If its still too large, you will have to reduce the frames per second for the GIF.
