I am wondering how to make a good platformer so you could reply to this and tell me on how to make a good platformer.

Just look at one of Griffpatch's tutorials on YouTube or one of his tutorials on his seconds account Griffpatch_Tutor on Scratch

I already have an idea because 2 people said to watch a griffpatch tutorial so I might do that

I don't really know how to make a platformer. But I suggest taking inspiration from other platformers especially like the one your making.

You can start by making basic platformers.
Here are some popular ideas for it:
1. Fire platformer
2. Cat platformer
3. Covid platformer
4. Water platformer
5. Cloud platformer

You can make a platformer with 3 simple sprites :
1. The player
2. The ground level
3. The obstacles

And don't forget to make the variable level to indicate when the levels will change.

Griffpatch said that a good platformer is actually the background scrolling backward rather than the character moving forward. However, that's for scrolling platformers.
