I moderate a speedrunning leaderboard for a game on Scratch, and have attempted to post a link to a Guide i wrote in the comments of said game (titled Punch-Out!! - The Definitive Project v1.1.9, and created by ZappyBarbecue10). The guide in question is in the form of a Google Docs Document which has been made public for viewing, and this was the only link i ever posted. On both occasions i tried, i was temporarily muted for “sharing or asking for personal information”. I messaged the Scratch Team but am skeptical of a reply, so can anyone please explain why my message got me this ban?

I can't link the document for obvious reasons, but if you go to Speedrun dot com, then search ”Punch-Out!! - The Definitive Project", you should be able to find my guide in the guide section. I want to post it to give people who enjoy the game a chance to learn more advanced strats.

Google Docs could fall under unmoderated chat. In Word, you can leave comments on a document if editing permission has been given.

Google docs has the possibility of sharing email addresses, along with private chat/inappropriate content within the document.

I believe you share Google documents on Google Drive, which is banned for live editing & unmoderated chat/documents.
This breaks the Community Guidelines for being unsafe and unmoderated. Scratch doesn't like these sites, like Discord and Google Drive.

It's unmoderated chat with live editing. Let's say there is a kid named Bob. Here's what happens

I see the issue with Google Docs, although i can assure you i wasn't planning on kidnapping any children. Shame we can't link speedrun.com tbh, seeing as how the chat (by which i mean the forums) is monitored - I monitor it, I am subject to monitoring it properly by site staff, the game requires a manual approval process, and the forums aren't even what I'm linking to, but Scratch has such a young audience so i guess it makes sense to be safe.

a little bit offtopic, but I'm surprised YouTube is allowed but speedrun.com isn't, as YouTube comments tend to be far less moderated than the forums. Might just be me though.

Who would share a google docs link? And how?

Only YT videos that have comments disables are allowed to be linked AFAIK

You should note that if you are currently banned on another account, you are not allowed to use any other account. Doing so is considered ban evasion which will lead to a longer ban / harder time appealing and possibly an IP ban. If you are currently banned, you should stop using all of your accounts and appeal/wait for the ban to end.

Chill, chill. Not all emails and identities are shown unless you are a designated viewer/editor/commentor.

Scratch hides comments to YouTube videos when you link one, it embeds the video into a webpage on scratch.mit.edu

For the most part, google docs can be used to share personal information, mostly to you as you are able to see the emails of other users viewing this doc.
