Call of Duty Zombies Enhanced
Call of Duty Zombies Enhanced is a re-imagining of a game released in 2011. The game is a Side View Scrolling wave based shooter taking place in a re-imagined version of Nacht Der Untoten from Call of Duty World at War and the Black Ops Series. Players will earn points based on where they hit the zombies to buy new “Wall Weapons”, Unlock doors, or open the “Mystery Box”. Each weapon has its own recoil, accuracy, magazine, ammo capacity, and damage output and is fully controllable with mouse aim. Zombies heads can be removed as well as turned into crawlers with the right weapons and skill. The Zombie AI is able to track the players location and navigate the environment with deadly force, destroying any barricades put up by the player to get to their target. Pick Ups will spawn randomly when killing zombies and can be used for an extra advantage to thin the horde. For more information, keep checking here for Updates and News or join us for the full announcement and release on DG DAY (More Info Below). You can also play Version 2.02 (recently fixed of all bugs) from 2013 at this link : Call of Duty Zombies V2.02

Where it started:
Back in 2011, before the website restructure that reset a large amount of the stats, I released Call of Duty Nacht Der Untoten Version 1.0. All art assets were created by myself using over 40 image references from Call of Duty World at War and a new AI system was developed to allow enemies to track where the player was and navigate the map to his/her location. Version 1.0 only allowed weapons to shoot left or right in straight lines. I returned to the project in 2013 to release Version 2.01. The update added pick ups spawning through out the map, the ability to headshot zombies with detachable heads, and a revamp to the controls to allow for aiming the weapon up and down with a tilt system. Although the new controls technically worked, the game still didn't play the way I wanted and the new control scheme confused a large amount of new players. April of 2019, I released the final Update to the original game as Update 2.02 to fix the last remaining bugs and technical issues
Looking to the Future:
After a large amount of experimentation, I returned to the project in 2019 to begin remaking the game from the ground up. All of the programming is being redesigned to allow for over double the detail in the environment, as well as a camera system for close quarters scrolling. The AI also had to be completely redesigned to allow for scrolling through an environment with the player compared to a static screen. The new shooting system allows for recoil on weapons based on how long the trigger is held, weapon accuracy based on the weapon being used, full aim control with the mouse, and the ability to swap between two weapons. There are a large amount of other additions I will be talking about in the coming days and look forward to seeing the communities feedback.
The Full Announcement:
DG Games is hosting a Real Time Live Project Event on April 30th of 2019 at 8:00PM Eastern Time for new announcements on “Call of Duty Zombies Enhanced”. The Enhanced version will release on the 30th after the event is finished. To view the Event Announcement Page, please visit https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/300612955/

Call of Duty Zombies Enhanced
Update 2.02 Now Live.
Since I am leaving the original version of the game behind, i decided to have another look back over the code and fixed the last couple of glitches after 5 years. Its now easier to see the aim assist arrow, the zombie head no longer constantly appears hovering in mid air, the intro has been fixed, and the variables now only display one a Match has started. Version 2.02 can be found here Call of Duty Zombies 2.02

Call of Duty Zombies Enhanced
Update Release Date:
I have been hard at work pushing the visuals as much as possible for Scratch and I can't wait to share more details until launch. The programming and art used for this project will lay the foundation for future projects in scratch with prioritization on Artificial Intelligence, Scrolling Environments, and my new weapon system. For those that were able to attend DG Day in April, thank you for keeping things silent until I was closer to launch.
