Any suggestion means a developer has to add it so that's a terrible point. I don't support because this actually wastes the Scratch developers time. The only use of asking country is timezones (i think so) and the timezones are very similar among the countries in the united kingdom. The time difference in UK countries is lesser than the time difference in STATES in the USA, China and a lot of other countries.
the UK is 8 hours ahead of USA but is behind time in china. Plus the worlds time is based on London, so that's a bad point is well.

It's not for timezone it's for statistic. The timezone is just EST I don't support because this actually wastes the Scratch developers time. I understand how you feel, but you can't make us take the cake. Are we all selfish?? NO. So please don't say that, it brings discomfort to most of us.this list than it's not happening. This is just upsetting. It shows how selfish Americans are I think, no offence. If it's not on…which have about as much autonomy as U.S. states. It isn’t a country, it is a group of counties
P.S. to be honest, Uno Reverse Card, the UK harshly treated the US.

I mean, the UK was pretty harsh on the US a long time ago since they were still being ruled as colonies and they wouldn't let them become independent. I know I wouldn't comment on here again, but ur last comment really got on my nerves.

Oh, so we are continuing discusing about this. A. That happened threee hundred years ago. B. The Uk treated countries way more harshley than the US, not saying it was right how they treated them, and C. The US have treated many countries extremelly harshley, even to this day. I know its off topic, but I couldn't not say something

Maybe this should be closed. I think there's a bit too much nationalism in this topic.
And we already know this suggestion won't be implemented.
And we already know this suggestion won't be implemented.
So I don't think there's any need for this to remain open. Greenland has it's own top-level internet domain - .gl
(It's worth noting that England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales don't have their own top-level domains, they all come under the .uk domain)
All this arguing is kind of pointless, the countries in the list are all on the ISO 3166 standard list of countries, it's that simple.

Randomly capitalizing letters of someone else's statement does not make you better or the other person worse. Resorting to childish mocking won't get you anywhere. Nope, no way I’m closing this topic. It is a prize possession of mine and that is why I wanted it in my banner to promote it. Ok, it was nice whilst it lasted, but yeah, this is going a bit too far, and we should close the topic

Your point of ‘states can be countries’ though is bad as states are not countries. Also, you misinterpreted a Arguement before making it different. I’m tired of people slagging off the UK as the US thinks they are SO MUCH BETTER!It's not my fault you backed an argument that you can't win. This thread is making me angry, especially fdreerf, so Ima unfollow it
