Well, it's just unusual. I feel like his armor and everything are such a huge part of what makes him who he is. Zero-suit Samus on the other hand, her suit simply looks like a suit, but Shulk has a complex array of gear that is gone.

He had a jacket on. And besides there is probably a good explanation for why he is in a swim suit.

On another note, I just gave Kirby the Deluxe Turbo Boost and whoa nelly the way he walks now, it looks faster than Sonic's running IMO.
