The project (if the link is leading to a project) could potentially be unshared.

if the page looks like this:

the thing you're accessing doesn't exist.
if it looks like this:

(or says 403 somewhere, there's two of these and I don't know how to find the other)
you can't access it.

They have saved the project and submitted the link and it still looks like the top one.

What if there is no share button on their project when they are done?

If the link isn't working, try using an alternative project viewer like forkphorus, or contact the student and ask them to share it.
I'm not a teacher, so I don't know if this will work, but there's only one way to find out.

What is the project ID? You can find this by finding the pages where it says the error and finding the number after scratch.mit.edu/projects/

The project is probably not shared, so you can go to their profile and see if they have any “shared projects”, if not, then that's the issue. You can ask them to share it or do what you want then. If they can't share it, then their email is not confirmed, if they all signed up with a school email, then it would depend on what that email is.
If it was their school email, they'll probably need to confirm it themselves.
But if it's say, your teacher email, and you confirmed all emails (idk how it works), then you missed one.
If it's a fake email, then that can be changed through “account information”, which can be accessed by clicking the icon, and then hitting “account settings”.
(Also, most people that go to the forums are ordinary scratchers, and are kids, fyi.)

It doesnt give them the option to share??? Is this because their email is not confirmed? They all used their own school email?

anyway, there should be an email in their emails saying “confirm your scratch account” if not, then you can get them to go into their account settings, and then just retype the password and hit “resend”, it would be under “email”.

I believe district/school email addresses might not be able to receive emails, so your students may not have been able to confirm email and thus share projects. Maybe use your email? I might be wrong
