Kit to Leader game manual
The creator of kit to leader has been banned from scratch for wrong reasons.I don't get it..what is going on?? It seems like….?????????So this isn't really necessary to say, but I recently learned that moss-shadow has been banned for the wrong reasons. You see, she says that scratch has been doing some illegal stuff and she knows about it. She says exactly
“I feel like they have a grudge against me. I know a lot about Scratch. I know a lot of illegal things they've been doing, and they know I know. I emailed them about it, and they shut me down by saying ”this is an educational website; we're not trying to harm anyone“. Education doesn't excuse anything. Schools are a huge example. How often do schools actually care about their students? I may be biased since I was raised in the ”hood“ and went to garbage schools, but these schools abuse the ”we're a school so we don't get to follow the laws“ to physically (yes, physically) and mentally harm their students. You can't justify everything because you focus on education. I won't expose Scratch's illegal actions here, but just know that they know I know.”
I wanted to show this to you all so that you know. She is permanently banned until scratch allows her back, realizing it is for unfair and wrong reasons. Scratch said: “You have demonstrated a pattern of behavior across projects, comments, studios, and activity outside of Scratch in which you attack others for perceived re-colors or remixed versions of your projects, and encouraged your followers to attack others on your behalf. We have talked to you about this before, and this is simply not what Scratch is about.”
She had been working on something called Pony Sims for maybe an entire week and focused pretty much all her time on that. No where did she share any project attacking anyone. They also mentioned that she attacked people outside of Scratch which we can completely ignore considering that ScratchTeam says in their Terms of Use that you cannot be banned for activities outside of Scratch.
She also says: “I find it strange that ScratchTeam then uses a manipulative tactic. After accusing me of all these untrue things, they end the email by trying to balance their attacks with positive things to make themselves look better. It's basically a ”You're really fat but I like your eyes“ kind of thing. I won't address the fact that they say that I use Scratch to protest their policies because 1. I don't, and 2. the only times I questioned their policies is when I noticed their illegal practices and I notified a lawyer about them.”
I am not saying this trying to attack scratch. I am saying this is wrong and that she really should let back. She is a great Scratcher and all of us love her projects. I am saying it is unfair.

*sigh* I guess I have to explain this, don't I? So, the thing is, if someone uses YouTube and Scratch (as an example of stuff done on other sites), it is alright. However, things such as live streams can lead to users seeing inappropriate things, which is why recently someone can get banned (the severity can vary though). The thing is, Scratch Team doesn't take action against a user until what they do (on Scratch or not) could be potentially harmful for the community. For example, a video showcasing bad Scratch comments on YT would be alright if no one (even the person who commented) would feel awful and unwelcome, because everyone should feel alright with being on Scratch.
Another thing is that no one is perfect, and no one will ever be perfect. Everyone has their flaws, but some are more open to them than others. I'm sure you lied to keep out of trouble or to push the blame on someone else, and more than once odds are. Just because someone is an influence to you doesn't mean they are perfect, as stated in the first sentence. moss-shadow could have done something bad we are not aware of, but the ST knows. In fact, we cannot confirm anything that points to why they were banned.
Now, I'll like you to know that you should NOT be discussing why people were banned at all. If you say they were banned, but say no reason, it can be more passable. But if you explain why they were banned, that isn't alright, because it could start plenty of unwanted drama. Know the exact reason why someone was banned? Keep it to yourself. I would even suggest not saying someone was banned at all to prevent drama. Worse thing is you could get a notification or blocked/banned depending what you did in the past. And finally, the Scratch Team has confirmed themselves that a human moderator checks everything the selected user has done. You could claim someone hated moss-shadow, but not all the Scratch Team would agree that is a good reason to ban her. Even if a Scratch Team member hated moss-shadow and banned her, she would be unbanned and most likely the one who banned her would get fired. Besides, there's a Scratch Team member who is following moss-shadow. I really doubt the Scratch Team hates her and any theories of the Scratch Team hating her are rumors meant to spark outrage, as this is not Twitter, so the Scratch Team ban people fairly. A good way to tell if a ban was fair or not is if the user said they were banned, sent an appeal, but was denied of coming back on. This usually is when a Scratcher breaks the guidelines repeatedly but I'm sure other things can cause it (I'm not an Scratch Team member so I dunno).
And please, do not send the Scratch Team mail asking for a Scratcher to get unbanned. All info about a Scratcher's ban will not be talked about towards anyone who isn't the one who got banned, so if you send an email for the Scratch Team to unban someone, it will get ignored and someone who really needs help will take more time to get the help. If you are using Contact Us, do not ask for answers to anything a Scratcher other than you did wrong (such as other Scratcher's bans).
Before I post this (and hopefully it makes sense), you should remember this is a topic for Kit to Leader. Anything off-topic could increase the chances of this topic getting closed and no one will be able to post at all. I also am not a Scratch Team member, so I probably am getting some stuff wrong (hehe, sorry). So now, let's get back on topic and discuss the game, for this is Show and Tell about projects/studios, not Scratchers and bans.
(though as a small note, i am starting to sound like a moderator…)
