How to make a clearer pfp?

Hi, so I recently re-designed my profile picture on Scratch using the Scratch vector editor. As you may be able to see, it doesn't really come out that clear, and doesn't look as good as I want it to. So does anyone have any recommendations of simple, free websites that I could use to make my pfp res clearer? That would really help!

Get an image that has a higher resolution. You can upload pictures up to 500px by 500px. Your profile picture is only 90 by 67.

Here's one I quickly made up that is higher resolution:

If you want a high-quality profile picture, there are a set of steps you can do to make it never decrease in quality:

1. Go to a gif-making website (i use ezgif)
2. Upload your profile picture
3. Copy the frame (you must have two frames for it to work)
4. Download the gif file and upload it as your profile picture

This method doesn't work any more, and isn't necessary anyway because a 500x500 PNG is good enough.

Profile pictures are being stored on CDN2 again, so this method still works while normal PFPs have a lower resolution.

Each emoji is only around 500 bytes. You'd need a lot more emojis to cause any lag at all and I think it'd all be client side.

Yes, I just want to warn him not to spam emojis.

Sorry, also, please don't presume my gender on Scratch, as I haven't revealed it, so people shouldn't presume what gender I am. Thanks

Both uploads.scratch.mit.edu and cdn2.scratch.mit.edu convert all profile pictures to PNG.

The difference (I believe) is that on CDN2, a static PNG will lower in both resolution and size when used in the site, while only the size will decrease for an animated PNG (like mine).

CDN2 still has to shrink the image to fit on screen, so you'll only notice this if you zoom in onto the page.

Why does my pfp look glitchy when I do this? (Sorry if I am late for 3 years)
