I LOVE the Skyward series!! Currently I'm reading the second book, Starsight!!! Pls no spoilers!!!!

But seriously, there's a huge resemblance between the characters in Skyward and the Hunger Games. I won't spoil the Hunger Games, but Skyward fans… Cough Cough, Cobb and Haymitch!!! That's a pretty “meh” one, but the fact that the main character are both somewhat stubborn, protective, have trust issues. Their fathers both died when they were young. They both illegally hunt and get by with this because the guards/peacekeepers buy their goods. Not to mention the DDF and the Capitol leaders both disliking the main character!! The boy that's a friend (Rodge and Gale). The way the caverns give the same vibe as the Hob!!! Plus, the richer caverns are mostly made flightleaders in Skyward and the high class districts normally form alliances: the Careers.

Another thing, who else is excited for Brandon Sanderson to release the third book!!!! I feel like this series should really get more attention!! Like maybe a movie series!!!! Who else would like to see the sci-fi movie starring Spensa and her violet eyes!!! No offense, but then again… almost always when they make a movie it's waaaaaaay off from the book. But I really feel like this series should have its very own movie series. Fans like me would want to see how Hollywood pictures these books!!! Unless that's just me…

If you haven't read the book, I extremely recommend it!!! I know the beginning of the book isn't very interesting, but push through and it will reveal its amazing chapters!! Plus, it's a pretty long book so you'll never really wish it didn't end. Not to mention, Brandon Sanderson is still working on his masterpiece and the series will continue!!!

Okay.. This may not be entirely true, but Brandon Sanderson claims that the Skyward book 3 will be coming out probably this year or next year. It's supposedly named, “Nowhere”, but some articles claim that the publisher for the book doesn't agree with the title. I'M SOOOO EXCITED!!!
