I have noticed that the Collaborations Directory is still receiving spam posts, unnecessary quotes, emoticons and blockspam after my announcement about spam control. Some of this spam came close to force-quitting my browser, which was very concerning. Due to the increased spam, users who post unnecessary things over and over again are at risk of being banned from the directory. Banned users must not post on the topic until their ban is lifted, although they are allowed to appeal their ban in a post. I am going to continue to report spam posts, especially those that are dangerous to the performance of lower end devices.

The assistant manager @scratchykit5743 is doing a brilliant job at minimising the spam, but it still exists. Be warned that I might need to implement stronger measures if this does not work. I entrust @scratchykit5743 with full abilities to enforce bans on consistent spammers. To enforce a ban, you simply go to the profile of the offending user and type this comment:

Hello, valued Collaborations Directory user. I am so sorry to have had to do this, but you have received a ban from the Collaborations Directory. This is because of repeated spam and Scratchblocks abuse, some of which could crash people's computers. Again I am extremely sorry to do this, but it had to be done. If you would like to appeal the ban, please make a post on the topic to let us know that you are aware of what you did and you promise to not repeat it. Sincerely, -CWDPC/-scratchykit
