Well, considering they give their services for free (or for credit), the term ‘shop’ is fairly misleading and could chase people away. Other than that, support.

Probably because it sounds super professional.

To solve this issue, call the current Request forums “Shops”, and make the new forum called “Requests”, since all the shops are in the current Requests forums.

You know, I actually really support this. When you want something you have to look through endless shops to see which ones do what you want, then you have to agree to their weird terms of service, put in a codeword, fill out a form and wait. This is the only option if you actually want someone to do something for you. Otherwise, you can make a topic, explain what you want and then have nothing happen. Even if the don't have currencies, shops are weird and have so many rules and requirements for the forms. There are quite a lot where you want to get what you wanted then get out of the forum because there's like so many rules and systems that you just don't understand. Full support!

Anyway uh, yeah, I have no idea about this one. From my admittedly extremely lacking understanding of the Requests culture, I feel like this would remove a lot of its activity. All shops would migrate to this new subforum and the old one would kind of die. Maybe it would actually work out more? Someone who uses the subforum more often could probably give a better response than I ever could.

That's kind of the point. We want a forum for shops (the current request forum) and a forum for actual requests without using shops.
