What is the Orange Color in the Scratch Logo?
I was recently trying to recreate the Scratch logo, and I was mostly successful. But it was still missing the exact shade of orange that the original one has. I looked it up, but it seems that it's not on the internet.
I tried eyedropping the color from the bitmap version of the logo too, but it doesn't look the same.
Would anyone know what the color is?
I'm using Inkscape, so I'm fine with any color format, including hexadecimal

What is the Orange Color in the Scratch Logo?
There is couple of variants of the logo, although I think the orange is the same across them all. (The design is different as well as the lighter orange)

If we are looking at the oldest one listed (2010), then the orange is roughly #FC8003. The lower lighter colour is #FFCA96.

Thanks, but that's the old one - I'm looking for the newest Scratch 3.0 color. There is a whole bunch of variants of the logo, so that's probably why you couldn't find the right one, although I think the orange is the same across them all. (The design is different as well as the lighter orange)

Let me try and hunt down what you are referring to.
Edit: Looks like you found it.

I looked at the logo in the GitHub repository, and using Microsoft Paint, the RGB value of the logo on 3.0 styled pages is 248, 168, 57, or hexadecimal #F8A839.

What is the Orange Color in the Scratch Logo?
In the editor, it's possible to save the Scratch logo as an svg.
Using this, I uploaded it to the editor and using a color picker from an extension I use, I found the color.
#f9a83a is the orange color in the logo. Here's an image:

Here are all the color formats:
RGB: 249, 168, 58
CMYK: 0%, 33%, 77%, 2%
HSV: 34°, 77%, 98%
HSL: 34°, 95%, 60%
let's see who we ninja

If you have firefox (this might work on other browsers too):
click on the hamburger menu (3 lines) at the top right of the browser
select “web developer”
select “eyedropper”
you can click on a pixel to copy that color to your clipboard
for example, the main color in your pfp is #e3e6ec
