I love mythology; my Hollow Knight fanfiction is even themed off it.

Personally my favorite mythical creatures are dragons (especially Chinese dragons), thunderbirds, hippocamps (that's what they're called, right?), kitsunes, kirin, and wendigos (solely because of Over The Garden Wall; the Beast is a cool villain, even if I despise him) in no particular order.
