Green Flag Suggestion
It just seems like another thing adding to the assumption that all new scratchers are new.New scratchers aren't always newIf I made a new account, I don't think I'd lose sleep over an extra green flag in the coding section that I may or may not use

Green Flag Suggestion
Do you think that anyone making an alt would be seriously offended by the assumption that they're a new user? We shouldn't remove any New Scratcher spam prevention methods just because “it would be rude to assume that they're a new user,” so why is it a reason not to support this?It just seems like another thing adding to the assumption that all new scratchers are new.New scratchers aren't always newIf I made a new account, I don't think I'd lose sleep over an extra green flag in the coding section that I may or may not useNo offense meant to the ST

Green Flag Suggestion
Actually, I'm the owner of the topic's alt. I am used to the spam prevention stuff and agree that they have a good point, but the suggestion that someone had for this just took it too far that only new scratchers would do this.Do you think that anyone making an alt would be seriously offended by the assumption that they're a new user? I never said you weren't? And how is automatically putting a green flag in the script area “taking it too far that only new scratchers would do this”?Actually, I'm the owner of the topic's alt. No, they'd just start placing blocks and going on with the project. So I think it doesn't matter that it adds to the assumption, it doesn't offend anybody.
That being said, I think having it restricted to new scratchers is a bit weird, and it might actually be counterproductive to learning. An actually new New Scratcher would automatically have the green flag, so they wouldn't learn where the flag was. When they become a Scratcher, the atuomatic green flag gets removed. Cue confusion. This also applies to a lesser extent the original suggestion, so no support to that one as well.
