Customer Terms

Orders

1. All orders will not be done immediately. Please be patient.
   
2. All orders must be properly credited unless it has been watermarked by the creator. (To credit us (if you're stuck), say “by {user} at Light Thumbnails”, if only the shop has been watermarked, say “by {user}”, or if the user has watermarked their username but not the shop name, it is okay to not credit us.)
   
3. Order forms must be clearly laid out and not confusing so our staff can make it the BEST they possibly can.
   
4. When ordering, until it is done, you agree that Light Thumbnails can cancel your order if we do not have the skill, or passed on to a partner shop.
   
5. If your order is late, you have every right to complain, but please make it polite and keep it to one post, or it will be considered spam.
   
6. If your deadline is ASAP, you have no right to complain if it is late.
   
7. When making changes, please quote the order form so that our staff have the clearest picture of the order.
   
8. If a worker you requested is on leave, we reserve the right for someone else to take that order.
   
9. You reserve the right to ask anything to be changed, politely.
   
10. You have the right to cancel the order.
    

Code of Conduct

1. Do not spam the forum. This clogs up the forum and is harder for our staff to find the important posts.
   
2. If we are closed to orders, we are closed to orders. You are free to order but there is no guarantee that your order will be completed within the deadline.
   
3. Follow the Order Terms.
   
4. State clearly what you want.

Current Staff

Expectations

• All thumbnails must be 480x360 pixels (the size of the scratch editor)
  
• All customers must be treated equally and politely
  
• If an order is late, apologise.
  
• Follow the order as closely as you can
  
• All staff must notify them where they asked you to.
  
• If you take an order, quote it and say “Taken!” (Orders are first-come-first-serve, so whoever takes the order first, does the order.)
  
• If you cannot take do an order, you must let the secretary or assistant secretary know.

Trainees

After The Application
Congratulations! Welcome to Light Thumbnails! If your skill isn't quite up, that's fine, let us know! The BoD will judge your thumbnail examples when you apply for a job, and if we think you need improving, we'll put you through training and one of our staff members will oversee your training by giving you mockup orders and giving feedback.

After Training
So, during your training, BoD members will be looking at your orders and when your trainer or a BoD member believes you are ready to become a member, welcome!
