Add this to the problem… The BLANK PROJECT THUMBNAIL is back and has haunted me and FantasyStoryOfficial on quite a few projects. I tried everything I could to reset it back to normal the last time it happened, but now I think it seems to be non-stop. I think I'll be one to say it is beyond server lag if something like THIS happens, as I don't usually have this problem on an iMac (okay, updating Thumbnails doesn't affect them, but the Scratch Cat Blank Project Thumbnail still occurs for them). Windows 10 and Other Network Devices have this problem going on.

Projects Affected on my end:
Joy's Wonderland
Drawing Test (M1mikyu)
Lonekat Running | This one was the one that got affected before, and yes I tried rapid save and it didn't work

uhhhhhhhh i have no idea why this is happening but when i upload a project and then after a few projects i make another one and when i have no thumbnail and i share it it chooses a thumbnail from my older projects (sometimes)

I really hate the glitch and really frustrated that Scratch still hasn't solved this problem yet.

Sometimes mine does a weird thing where it shows just grey. Like grey like there's nothing in the project.

I'm having the problem where the thumbnail won't change It's really annoying and I've tried putting a block in, taking it out, and saving, but no matter what it won't change! It's super frustrating, please someone help!

Also cache can cause thumbnails or profile avatars to not change immediately. You can do this keyboard shortcut to clear cache on the current webpage: ctrl/cmd+shift+r

There is a solution if someone hasn't said it already. You can go to file and create an exact copy of a project. You can then save with the thumbnail over it and it should save with the thumbnail, it will be the same project, you'll just have two versions of it.

Yeah, I tend to get this glitch.

Luckily I changed my pfp yesterday and didn't, so that's good.

I hope they fix this soon, though.

I found out a way to fix the thumbnails (For projects only)


Create a copy of the project with the thumbnail on and save the copy and the thumbnail will be there then you just have to rename it

wait until <Profile pictures get fixed too>

I've been trying 5 times a day for a week, still no thumbnails on my aesthetics that I'm trying to make, and I'm having this issue on my main account as well. ( Yafdance )

I recorded this issue and put it on youtube, of me trying to fix it (as an unlisted video): https://youtu.be/D8TS8R0IZhI . The ‘last modified’ date shows January 2017, even though this is wrong. This seems to happen when a project is uploaded from the offline editor.
