Support if optional. I follow a lot of people from a long time ago and I'm too lazy or don't want to unfollow them. I also follow some people I respect or want to remember but don't want notifications for. There are some accounts I would want this for though.

It would only be murdered if you didn't unfollow them for quite some time, if you were aware of your inbox being murdered and unfollowed them then, only like ~10 messages would be there, not enough to have a murdered inbox.

2. You misunderstood the suggestion. It's not “when one of your followers releases a project”, it's “when someone you're following releases a project”.

Maybe make it show the number of projects shared by others you follow, and a link to a page with all of them. It would be sent daily so you wouldn't get another message every single time someone shares a new project.

3 projects from Scratchers you're following were recently shared

I like the idea from #17, kind of like YouTube's notification bell.
