Honestly if you know that user makes certain projects, just don’t view their profile or click on their project. Scratch’s slogan is imagine program share, so I think we should have the ability to see others projects.

I remember someone once raising the issue about how Discord pinging is annoying and that nobody should do it, at least to that specific person. Anything short of an important announcement in a server apparently did qualify as “unneeded”.

Telling such a person to completely ignore pings would just cause them to miss out on actually useful stuff, regardless of rarity.

How does that analogy make any sense? If you don't like a user's projects, don't click on them. It's that simple.

alright here's one which could make sense if you don't use discord. say you have some specific phobia idk, and you were scrolling through a search results page for something you like. you find a user which makes specifically types of projects about the thing you're scared about, but the search results page won't hide that will it,,? any solution here?

That makes no sense, all the reasons to be able to hide a project should also apply to studios. So if it gets implemented for projects there's no reason it shouldn't be implemented for studios. If the only reason not to include studios in this is so the ST won't think it's too close to blocking, then the suggestion shouldn't be implemented at all.
